“Proving that 'voluntary' doesn't mean 'low budget.' I shaped the visual voice of Karen AGC through design, photo, and video fueled by coffee, community, and the occasional church tea.”

01 The challenge

A quiet digital door.

Karen AGC had a vibrant spirit but a quiet “digital door.”

With no dedicated creative department and a mountain of content to produce, the visual storytelling was a one person marathon.

02 The approach

A creative engine.

I treated the “voluntary” role like a high-end agency startup. Beyond just designing, I built a creative engine:

  • Visual Rebrand: Swapped cluttered flyers for sleek, cohesive series branding.

  • Multimedia: Blended candid photography with cinematic video recaps.

  • The Media Team: Recruited and mentored a crew of young creatives, turning a solo hustle into a sustainable digital powerhouse.

03 The outcome

From one-person hustle to media team.

“What started as a one man hustle is now a full scale creative engine. I didn’t just join the media department; I built it.

By mentoring a team of young creators, I’ve turned Karen AGC’s digital door into a world-class brand one frame, one pixel, and many cups of tea at a time.”
